Body of 24-Year-Old Man Found on M4 Near Bridgend Following Police Response

On the evening of Saturday, December 6, emergency services were called to the M4 near Junction 36 in Bridgend following reports of a man in distress on a footbridge. Upon arrival, South Wales Police discovered the body of a 24-year-old man on a nearby slip road.

The South Wales Ambulance Service, along with police and forensic experts, quickly attended the scene and made efforts to resuscitate the man, but unfortunately, these attempts were unsuccessful. The motorway was temporarily closed in both directions to facilitate the emergency response and investigation.

The deceased has been identified as a 24-year-old resident of Litchard, Bridgend. His family have confirmed his identity and are receiving support during this difficult time.
