Body Found in Search for Missing Cheltenham Man

A body has been discovered as part of the ongoing search for a missing man from Cheltenham.

The search had been focused on finding 62-year-old Andrew, who was last seen on April 25. On Sunday afternoon, a body was located on Old Gloucester Road.

Gloucestershire Police confirmed the discovery and informed Andrew’s family. According to the police statement:

“A body has been found during searches for a man reported missing from the Staverton area of Cheltenham last week. The body was located on Old Gloucester Road on Sunday, May 3. Andrew’s family has been notified. His death is not being treated as suspicious at this time, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”

Police expressed their gratitude to all those involved in the search, including the Severn Area Rescue Association and the public who shared information or reported possible sightings.

“Our thoughts remain with Andrew’s family at this time,” the police concluded.
