A body has been discovered in connection with the search for a missing Cheltenham man, 62-year-old Andrew, who was last seen on April 25.
The body was found on Old Gloucester Road on the afternoon of Sunday, May 3. Andrew’s family has been informed of the development.
Gloucestershire Police issued a statement confirming the discovery: “A body has been found during searches for a man reported missing from the Staverton area of Cheltenham last week. The search efforts focused on locating Andrew, and the body was recovered on Old Gloucester Road on Sunday afternoon.

“Andrew’s family has been notified. At this time, his death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Officers extended their gratitude to all those involved in the search, including the Severn Area Rescue Association, as well as members of the public who supported the efforts by sharing appeals and providing information or potential sightings.
“Our thoughts remain with Andrew’s family at this time,” the police statement concluded.
