A tragic accident occurred near Evesham on Sunday, May 25, when a BMW motorcycle collided with a black Jeep Renegade on Kings Lane in Norton at approximately 4:55 pm. The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Jeep, carrying a driver and four passengers, sustained multiple injuries, and all occupants were taken to hospital for treatment. Following the incident, a 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
West Mercia Police have launched an appeal for witnesses to come forward. A police spokesperson urged anyone who assisted at the scene, saw the vehicles before the collision, or has dashcam footage from the time to contact the force.
