Bishop’s Cleeve played out a 2-2 draw with Frome Town at Kayte Lane in the Southern League Division One South on Friday night.
The Mitres took the lead 13 minutes into the game with an impressive long-range strike from Toby Holland.
Shortly after, Jay Malshanskyj added another goal for Cleeve with a well-placed shot from 30 yards out, securing a 2-0 lead.

Frome Town quickly responded with a goal from Jonathan Davies, bringing the score to 2-1.
In the second half, Frome Town equalized through George Rigg’s powerful strike in the 58th minute.
Both teams had opportunities to clinch the win, with Cleeve’s Holland coming close in the 84th minute, only to be denied by a solid save from Frome’s goalkeeper, Kyle Phillips.
With the match ending in a draw, Cleeve’s manager Paul Collicutt praised his team for their performance.
Bishop’s Cleeve will face Cirencester Town in their next game in the Gloucestershire Senior Cup on Tuesday night.
