Biker Fighting for Life After Forest of Dean Crash as Police Seek Mini Driver’s Help

A motorcyclist remains in critical condition following a serious collision in the Forest of Dean on Wednesday morning.

Emergency services responded at approximately 7:25 a.m. to reports of a crash on Roman Road near Dymock involving a silver BMW and a green Triumph motorbike.

Gloucestershire Police confirmed the motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, where he continues to receive treatment.

The B4215 road was closed for more than 12 hours while emergency teams worked at the scene, reopening around 7 p.m. that evening.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or has relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.

Police are especially eager to speak with the driver of a Mini who is believed to have overtaken an HGV skip lorry just moments before the collision.
