Biker Critically Injured in Forest of Dean Crash as Police Seek Mini Driver’s Help

A motorcyclist remains in critical condition following a serious collision on the B4215 Roman Road near Dymock in the Forest of Dean.

Emergency services responded at approximately 7:25 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, after reports of a crash involving a silver BMW and a green Triumph motorcycle.

Gloucestershire Police confirmed that the motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, where he is currently receiving treatment.

The incident caused the road to be closed for over 12 hours, with reopening occurring around 7 p.m. that evening.

Authorities are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or has relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward. In particular, police are keen to speak with the driver of a Mini, who is believed to have overtaken a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) skip lorry moments before the collision.
