Announcing the passing of a loved one in local news media remains a cherished tradition, and we are honored to be entrusted with these heartfelt announcements. Each funeral notice published in our newspaper and on our website is also featured on funeral-notices.co.uk, the UK’s leading site for death notices and memorials. These notices are preserved online indefinitely, offering a lasting tribute where friends and family can share memories, add tributes and photographs, and make donations in honor of their loved ones.
Every week, we reflect on the lives of those remembered in our community through funeral notices and tribute pages. Below are some of the moving tributes published this week.

His funeral service will be held at Gloucester Cathedral on Tuesday 19th May at 12:30pm. Attendees are kindly asked to consider donations to The Donkey Sanctuary (Sidmouth) and Dogs Trust in lieu of flowers.
