The Greyhound, a cherished pub located just off Cheltenham Road in Longlevens near Gloucester, is set to close temporarily for over three weeks to undergo a significant renovation.
Situated near the busy Elmbridge Court roundabout where the A40 and A417 intersect, The Greyhound will close its doors from Monday, November 17, reopening on Wednesday, December 10.
In celebration of its history before the transformation, The Greyhound invites patrons to a special “Bye Bye Old Pub” party on Saturday, November 15. The event promises delicious food, lively music, flowing drinks, and great company—a perfect way to make lasting memories before the pub’s new chapter begins.

Keep your eyes peeled because we’ll be posting daily updates showing all the work as it happens. You won’t want to miss a moment of the transformation!”
The pub thanked its supporters for their loyalty over the past year and encouraged everyone to visit once it reopens, looking better than ever just in time for the busy Christmas season. Bookings are already being accepted for the reopening period.
