Beatrice and Eugenie Set to Fade from Public Royal Life After Andrew’s Arrest

A royal expert has forecasted that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are likely to retreat from public royal life in the wake of their father Prince Andrew’s recent arrest. On February 19, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was taken into custody on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

The former prince was arrested early that morning, around 8 a.m., and transported to Aylsham police station. After approximately 12 hours in custody, Thames Valley Police released him under investigation. He subsequently returned to his temporary residence at Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate.

Although both Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35, retain their royal titles, insiders believe that Andrew’s legal troubles will significantly affect their public roles. Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told The Express that the sisters could lose their association with key charitable organizations due to the scandal.

Speaking exclusively to The Express, Fitzwilliams said, “Beatrice and Eugenie will disappear from royal life. They will probably lose their coveted charitable organizations. They are unlikely to be prominent in the future and would be better off quiet.”

Prince Andrew has endured intense criticism for his past association with Jeffrey Epstein, the financier implicated in a high-profile human trafficking scandal. Andrew’s name appears in the Epstein files, a detail that has brought additional embarrassment to the Royal Family.

It is important to note that being mentioned in the files does not imply wrongdoing. Andrew has consistently denied any involvement in illegal activities connected to Epstein.
