BBC The Repair Shop Fans Speechless as Will Kirk Celebrates ‘Wonderful’ Milestone

Will Kirk, the beloved antique furniture restorer from BBC’s The Repair Shop, recently marked a major personal milestone—his 40th birthday. Known for his expert craftsmanship and heartfelt restorations, Will has been delighting audiences since the show’s debut in 2017.

On May 14, Will took to Instagram to share a relaxed holiday snap of himself raising a glass of wine with family to toast his milestone birthday. Alongside this, he posted a touching childhood photo featuring a young Will staring at a chocolate cake candlelit with two candles. “Here’s to 40!” he wrote, expressing gratitude for the support of his family and friends over the years.

The heartfelt post drew warm birthday wishes from fans and celebrities alike, including Zoe Ball. Many followers were surprised to learn Will’s age, with comments such as “40? I thought you were about 28!” and “You certainly don’t look 40!” Others playfully compared him to fine wine, saying he’s “getting better with age.”

Recently, Will opened up about the constant upkeep in their home. “There is always something that needs fixing. It is never ending,” he told the Mirror. Despite the challenges of balancing family life and DIY projects, Will insists on doing the work himself, saying, “If you can’t sand the floor and you’re not happy with it, you can always get someone in? No way! Not in this house!”
