BBC Stars Return to Gloucestershire as Gripping Comedy Thriller Announces Final Series

Fans of smart, dark comedy have much to celebrate as production starts on the third and concluding series of the critically acclaimed BBC show, Am I Being Unreasonable?. The award-winning series follows a grieving mother trapped in an unhappy marriage in a rural community, all while hiding a chilling secret.

Creators and stars Daisy May Cooper and Selin Hizli are set to reprise their roles, joined once again by BAFTA-winner Lenny Rush, known for his role as Ollie, and Dustin Demri-Burns as Dan. The series, which earned three Royal Television Society Programme Awards and was named 2025’s Best TV Comedy Drama by the British Comedy Guide, promises an intense and darkly humorous conclusion when it premieres later this year on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

Filmed across Bristol, Gloucestershire, and the West Country, the new season picks up right where the last left off. The official synopsis hints at a web of secrets finally unraveling: “Is Nic’s confession finally out there? What exactly did Jen do to Mrs Baggot? Has Dan put a bun in the wrong oven? Did Ollie make Suzie go away? This murky morality tale forces every character to face their messy realities head-on.”
