A man in his 20s was seriously injured in a stabbing incident at a property in the village of Mickleton, located in the Cotswolds, on Saturday, May 17, at approximately 4:20 p.m. The victim was promptly taken to University Hospital Coventry, where he received treatment and has since been discharged.
Following the attack, the victim’s car, a Vauxhall Astra, was stolen and remains missing. In connection with the incident, a 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He has been released on police bail as the investigation continues.
Gloucestershire Police have issued an appeal for witnesses or anyone with information related to the case to come forward. Authorities are keen to hear from individuals who may have seen the assault or know the whereabouts of the stolen vehicle. Witnesses or informants who have not yet contacted the police are urged to reference incident number 320 of May 17 when providing information.

A man in his 20s was found with suspected stab wounds and was swiftly taken to hospital. His car was stolen in the aftermath and has not been located.
