Yesterday in Cirencester, a young person was arrested for assault and making threats to kill following a fight between two youths on Gardner Way at around 9pm. The Cotswold Neighbourhood Policing Team is urging local residents and witnesses to come forward with any information they may have regarding the incident.
The team stated, “We are appealing for witnesses to an incident which occurred in the area of Gardner Way, Cirencester, yesterday evening at approximately 2100hrs whereby a fight was reported between two youths. As a result of the incident and subsequent Police attendance, a youth from the Cirencester area has been arrested on suspicion of assault and threats to kill.”
The police are asking anyone with information to contact them via 101 or online through their website, quoting incident 483 of 03/05/2025. Additionally, the team is addressing other incidents of anti-social behavior in the vicinity and working with local housing to resolve the matter with those involved.
