Jane Roberts, a mother from Stroud, has embarked on a heartfelt campaign to fund a bench dedicated to mental health support, inspired by the tragic loss of her son, Ben Brimley. Ben, who struggled with undiagnosed ADHD for over a decade, tragically took his own life after years of battling mental health crises. Ben was first referred for ADHD assessment as a child, but it wasn’t until he was 17 that he received a diagnosis—a delay that Jane believes profoundly affected his treatment and wellbeing.
