Highlighting the Cotswolds, nestled in Gloucestershire, Cara said it felt like stepping into an English fairytale. One of the area’s gems is Alington Row in Bibury, often hailed as England’s most iconic street. Dating back to the 1300s, the charming cottages captivated the pair with their timeless beauty.
Their adventure also took them to Bourton-on-the-Water, affectionately nicknamed the Venice of the Cotswolds. The highlight here was the intricately detailed model village, a fascinating miniature representation of the local community. Each town in the Cotswolds offers its own unique allure, making every visit a delightful experience.
In Stow-on-the-Wold, they admired historic landmarks such as the Tolkien Door and medieval stocks, adding a cultural depth to their journey. When it came to food, Jeremy’s favorite was the innovative two-in-one pie at The Weighbridge Inn – a delicious combination of rich pie filling paired with creamy cauliflower cheese.
Cara, who has amassed over 79,000 subscribers on her channel, summed up their experience perfectly: “If you want to explore the picturesque English countryside, the Cotswolds offers a magical, storybook escape.”
The video sparked enthusiasm among viewers, including locals who expressed pride and delight. One resident noted, “I’m lucky enough to live in the Cotswolds and still exploring after 15 years here.” Another fan celebrated their family ties to the featured regions, saying, “I’m from the Cotswolds and my Da is from Belfast and they both made the list!”
