Amanda Owen and Ex-Husband Clive Open Up About Their ‘Low Lows’ After Getting Lost on the Moors

Amanda Owen and her ex-husband Clive have revealed they’ve faced some “low lows” after getting lost on the misty moors, sharing their experience with fans in a heartfelt Instagram video.

The well-known duo from Our Yorkshire Farm and Our Farm Next Door found themselves disoriented amid thick fog, with Amanda admitting the situation was “bad.” Despite their separation in 2022, Amanda and Clive continue to co-parent their nine children and collaborate on their farm projects.

In their Instagram post, captioned “High highs and low lows. But we’re here to tell the tale,” the couple reflected on their week. Amanda described it as a “funny old week,” filled with both ups and downs, likening it to a rollercoaster ride. “We’ve had some good stuff, some very positive moments, but we’ve also encountered a few weird ones,” she said.

Clive pinpointed their worst moment: getting lost on the moor in heavy mist. Amanda joked about the irony of being lost together, to which Clive responded with a laugh: “Thank God we found our way. We could have been there yet.” Amanda added, “There was a point where I thought, ‘How did I manage to get lost on the moor, in the mist, with him?’”

Alongside the video, Amanda encouraged fans to tune in to Our Farm Next Door, describing the show as “authentic, relatable, joyful, hopeful TV with a dash of jeopardy, frequent comedic value, and genuinely real people and stories.”

Amanda and Clive have become beloved figures since Our Yorkshire Farm first aired in 2018, a series that follows their family life at Ravenseat farm in the remote Upper Swaledale area of the Yorkshire Dales. After the original series ended, Channel 4 launched Our Farm Next Door, spotlighting the family’s efforts to renovate an old building near their farm.
