Amanda Holden’s Emotional Reaction to Surprise Performance on Britain’s Got Talent

A surprise performance at the opening of Britain’s Got Talent left judge Amanda Holden in tears during the latest episode. The show began with Holden and fellow judges Simon Cowell, Bruno Tonioli, and Alesha Dixon walking the red carpet.

The judges were left speechless when, just moments into the program, the audience broke into Electric Light Orchestra’s ‘Mr Blue Sky’. The unexpected audition had taken place during the BGT series 18 photocall earlier in the year.

Holden was stunned and asked Simon, “Is this an audition?”, as the impromptu act unfolded. Cowell led the choir through a powerful performance, leaving both the judges and the audience in applause.

After the performance, a visibly moved Holden, who resides in the Cotswolds, expressed her emotions, calling it “absolutely gorgeous.”

Her fellow judge, Dixon, also chimed in, praising the colorful and joyful surprise. Tonioli added his enthusiastic agreement, exclaiming, “Unbelievable.”

In a twist to the BGT format, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly then surprised everyone by giving an impromptu audition by Pop Voices Choir from Shirley, West Midlands a total of six ‘Yeses’.
