TV presenter Alan Titchmarsh had an awkward moment on the latest episode of Love Your Weekend, as he welcomed actress Anne Reid and actor Julian Rhind-Tutt to the ITV show on Easter Sunday.
During their conversation, Titchmarsh mentioned a past accolade, suggesting that both guests had been labelled as “sex symbols.” However, Anne promptly corrected him, clarifying that she was named as “Pin-Up Of The Year” by The Oldie magazine, emphasizing that it’s not the same as being a sex symbol.
The episode also highlighted Anne Reid’s remarkable career, spanning six decades, from serving school dinners to significant roles in popular culture, such as marrying Ken Barlow and dating Daniel Craig. Reid’s contributions were recognized with the MBE in 2010 and the CBE in 2025.
