Several abandoned exotic animals, including a large scorpion, were recently found in a Cotswolds village. The discoveries were made in Tetbury earlier today (December 28), according to a statement from Cotswolds Police.
The animals, among them the scorpion, were located in a woodland near the village and have since been transported to a specialized facility located out of the county.
Photographs released by the police display the scorpion inside its enclosure, along with a cracked golden skull and a yellow flower-shaped water pot. In a social media post, Cotswolds Police stated, “Officers from Cirencester NPT and the Rural Crime Team responded to a report of abandoned exotic animals in a woodland in Tetbury.”
