Road Closures

A-road closures and roadworks scheduled across Gloucester, Tewkesbury and Bishops Cleeve

Gloucestershire County Council has announced a series of temporary road closures, night-time works, and parking restrictions across the Tewkesbury Borough, Cheltenham Borough, Gloucester City, and the Forest of Dean. These measures are in place to facilitate essential resurfacing, drainage improvements, and utility upgrades.

The planned works extend through various dates up to 31 March 2027. Signposted diversions will be provided to guide motorists and minimise disruption. While some works affect main roads, many are on smaller routes, primarily impacting local residents and immediate neighbours.

Thirteen key locations have been identified as affected by these works. Details regarding the specific times and dates of closures are available in the council’s official public notice.

Those with concerns or who believe they may be significantly affected are encouraged to contact Gloucestershire Highways directly on 08000 514 514 to obtain full details, including phased timings.
