500-Year-Old Gloucestershire Gastropub Unveils New Campaign to Bring Communities Together

The King’s Arms, a charming 500-year-old gastropub nestled in Prestbury, Gloucestershire, has launched an exciting new initiative aimed at strengthening community bonds and giving locals fresh reasons to visit. Known for its quirky charm—with features like inglenook fireplaces, exposed wooden beams, and cozy dining nooks—the pub is steeped in character and history.

Now, every day of the week at The King’s Arms will showcase a special event or theme that centers on sustainably sourced, seasonal food and drinks, vibrant entertainment, and a welcoming community atmosphere.

This initiative is part of a wider campaign rolling out across all 35 Heartwood Collection locations in the UK, reflecting the group’s dedication to fostering genuine connections in local pubs. Alongside this, Heartwood recently introduced the ‘Treats’ app, designed to reward loyal guests and create a more interactive relationship between the pub and its patrons.

With our new ‘Reasons to Visit’ initiative, we’re crafting spaces where community, connection, and celebration come naturally. Whether it’s quiz nights or Sunday roasts, we aim to revive the treasured moments that make outings to local pubs so special.”
